Reason I started leveling in the first place:
I was a great fan of the WoWHobbs movies (link here). He pulled Scarlet Monastary Cathedral in 2 goes, Solo’ed Strat in only a few pulls and many other things. (this was all in the 70 days if I remember correctly.)
It all looked so awesome that I wanted to do that as well. Thing is though, at that time, Paladins were a hell to level. Not at all hard, I mean, Paladin don’t die remember? But it was a loooooong process I was not willing to sit out.. So I benched him pretty early on. When leveling became easier for both the Paladin-class and WoW in general I picked him up again and trashed through everything with extreme ease! (Art of War-proc FTW!) and now, here she is at level 80 tanking your heroics!
Thoughts on tanking:
Many have said it before and I’m going to say it again.. easy mode! Consecration = All the aggro! Regardless, the rotation is interesting enough to keep me motivated to do heroics and so are the many many other things you can do while tanking. (Buffing, Healing, Critter-Bashing, Walking your dog) Overall I must say that the design and abilities are nicely worked out, though I personally hate mana-management. But that is just me, not a class-flaw!
Thoughts on the Class:
I personally haven’t done all that much on healing. Mostly because I don’t enjoy healing all that much. As a DPS it is a nice way to settle my nerves. Just a simple rotation. Just as every other class, I see DPSing as easy-mode and relaxation. Not because I think it is easier then tanking, just because I am not motivated enough to make the difference and just.. take it easy!
